Overcoming Roadblocks and Addiction, Securing Employment

Dennis' Story

Dennis is a recovering addict who had experienced homelessness (off and on) for 30 years. He graduated from the Jobs for Life class at Bridges at Kraemer Place (OC United's homeless shelter) last March.

Overcoming a myriad of obstacles and roadblocks, Dennis found employment. Soon after, he and his wife Christina secured housing, and now they are seeking to live in the fullness of life that God has designed for them.

Dennis credits the Lord, first and foremost, for the changes in his life. He knows the God has worked through his wife, through Jobs for Life (JfL), and especially through his JfL champion (mentor), Pete, to effect those changes.

Please pray for Dennis and Christina and their continued success in this journey. And pray that people will rise to the challenge of walking alongside people like Dennis and Christina in programs like Jobs for Life!
