"Happy December!! I thank God for another month. I ended November on a great note by graduating from a Jobs for Life training hosted by two wonderful facilitators, Shay Bethea and Margaret Jones. It was an amazing two-day training that focused on training churches to be equipped to launch classes for transformational ministry (transforming mindsets and patterns through the love of Christ and His Word) to individuals who are unemployed or underemployed.

It's not a typical job-readiness program where you receive content and a promise of a job and you're on your way. It is a lifelong commitment to walk along side our brothers and sisters who have been beat down by generational curses, trauma, and societal issues. It helped me dissect the economic crisis and to tie that into our mission as the Church, to really be the hands and feet of Jesus and to not check off another box on a so-called 'Christian to-do list'. Very convicting and powerful ministry that needs to be implemented throughout the U.S."
