JfL CORE is a live training event, led by experienced Jobs for Life leaders from around the country, that helps you and your team with the necessary steps to plan, start and sustain a work-readiness class, through Jobs for Life, in your community. Through interactive group discussions and challenging exercises, you will be led through Biblical principles, proven strategies and real life applications that assist you in building Gospel-centered relationships with people in your community and helping them to find and keep meaningful work.

NOTE: JfL CORE Training is required to gain access to Jobs for Life tools and resources, to gain access to purchase the JfL curricula, and to be authorized to facilitate a JfL class or PfL class. For new sites that have never led a JfL class, a minimum of two team members from your organization must be in attendance.

Margaret is an experienced Associate Pastor with a history of working in the industry of religious institutions. She is skilled in nonprofit organizations, coaching, discipleship, event management, and volunteer management. Margaret is a strong community and social services professional, and for the past 3 years, she has served as the lead instructor for Heart for Winter Haven’s (FL) Jobs for Life classes.ses at OC United for over 5 years, and has been training other JfL leaders all over the country for the past two years.
Pat recently retired from the workforce for the second time, but has not retired from prison ministry. With their backgrounds in small business development and leading/facilitating workshops as well as their ownership of daycare centers, she and her husband currently lead a JfL class for a Christian re-entry program offered at one of the prisons in Lousiville, KY. Pat has been sharing her experience and wisdom and helping to train other JfL leaders all over the country for the past two years.
