Jobs for Life 500 Blitz!

Hello friends – We have a had a lot of fun with the Jobs for Life 500 these last nine weeks (for more info on the Jobs for Life 500, click here). Friends and leaders of JfL have joined me in covering miles on behalf of those served by JfL so that we can make an impact in the lives of 500 men and women as we close out this year. So far, the JfL 500 has secured enough investment to impact 376 people! With 124 to go and five weeks left in the year, it's time to call a Blitz!
Will you join us? 
The Jobs for Life 500 Blitz will take place the week of December 7-12. During those six days, we plan to make a serious dent in our goal to reach 500 people by the end of the year and need your help. Join with several others across the country who will walk, run, hike, and/or bike a total of 10 miles that week on behalf of those served by JfL and have their friends sponsor them as they cover their miles.
Through this collective effort, we hope to secure the resources needed to reach our goals and help hundreds of men and women learn what it means to live and work for the glory of God.
It’s simple and fun to be a part. Here’s what you would need to do:
- Determine how you would like to cover your 10 miles that week – walk, run, bike, swim, hike, crawl, skip, hop, whatever you want.
- Decide on a goal for the amount of investment and impact you’d like to secure for JfL ($250, $500, $1,000, $2,000, etc). Our cost is $250 per person. So, for every $250 you secure, a man or woman’s life will be transformed through your effort.
- Send an email to your friends letting them know what you are doing and asking them to sponsor you with an end of year tax-deductible gift to JfL. (We have an email you can tailor for your friends. Once you sign up, we’ll send it to you. It’s that simple.)
- Cover your 10 miles during the six days of December 7-12 and transform lives knowing all the funds you secure will go toward mobilizing churches and community organizations to help men and women live and work for the glory of God.
During the Blitz, we plan to send a list of ways you can pray for JfL and those served by our work while you cover your miles. Our prayer is the Lord would use this collective effort as a powerful way to advance His Kingdom and glorify Himself.
10 new people/families have already signed up for the Blitz. Our goal is to have 40 more join us before the week of the 7th. Will you be one of them?
