| Amount of people served through Jobs for Life tripled in 2006
Jobs for Life experiencing outstanding growth
Raleigh, NC - October 25, 2006
So far in 2006, Jobs for Life has tripled the amount pf people served compared to the amount in years past. Approximately 900 people have participated in Jobs for Life classes across the country in 2006. JfL classes are being held in churches, prisons, rescue missions, shelters, ministries for at-risk youth, and many other community non-profit organizations.
According to David Spickard, President and CEO of Jobs for Life, "This growth confirms that JfL's tools are mobilizing more people of faith than ever in the fight against poverty and unemployment in our communities. We are excited about this unprecedented growth and look forward to building on this foundation in the years to come."
