Jobs Partnership in Brenham, TX to increase scholarships to graduates of Jobs for Life class

Jobs Partnership of Washington County in Brenham, TX is increasing the scholarship it offers to graduates of its Jobs for Life class from $250 to $500. These scholarships are provided to every class graduate and can be used for further education expenses and/or a down payment for an automobile. Local individual donors as well as the Rotary Club and the United Way have contributed to Jobs Partnership in order to make this possible.
Says Rick Flammer, President of Jobs Partnership of Washington County, "these scholarships are intended to provide a great incentive for our students to succeed in the class and give them access to higher paying jobs."
To date, the scholraships have heped graduates attend Pharmacy Tech training, Art School, CNA training, and general college.
