Above video: Leaders of JfL in the Triangle Area, NC, share how relationships within their local City Network have impacted lives.

To combat poverty and unemployment locally, Jobs for Life goes deeper in cities.

As you'll see in our 2016 Annual Report, we saw amazing work and powerful results in the City Networks centered in Raleigh (NC), Nashville (TN), Tampa (FL), Atlanta (GA), and Charleston (SC).

In these cities, churches, businesses, nonprofits, and government entities are banding together to tackle the issues of joblessness and relational brokenness they are encountering. This year, even more cities are joining with us, including the Hampton Roads Area and Greater Richmond Area in VA.

Watch the above video of a City Network in action in the Triangle Area of NC, where over 40 churches, ministries, and businesses are joining together to help people flourish in their work and relationships in their city.

To combat poverty and unemployment at the city level, JfL partners with city leaders to create:

An active network of churches and organizations preparing men and women for work (sites are geographically dispersed, representative of community, addressing various populations)

A network of companies offering relationships, access, and opportunities for employment

Gatherings and events to build relationships and share resources

Trained JfL leaders using their skills and knowledge to transform their community and expand JfL’s mission

Financial support from individuals, companies, churches, and foundations for JfL’s local and global mission
