13 Graduate From Deer Ridge Correction Facility in Madras, Oregon

The fourth group to graduate from the local Jobs For Life program – 13 inmates at the Deer Ridge Correction Facility in Madras – received their certificates Dec. 9, from instructor Charitie Gamble. Gamble, learned about the program at the Christian Community Development Association Conference in North Carolina in 2014, brought it to Jefferson County, and hosted the first class in the state of Oregon in spring of 2015.
